Our puppies are $425.00
This is how the "notification list" works. Everyone on the notification list receives an email (when I know for sure that my Mama is pregnant) telling you about when the puppies are expected to be born and who the parents are. After the puppies are born an email is sent out with a litter photo and information on how many males and females, their colors,etc. Those on the list for puppies receive weekly updates and photos. Individual puppy pictures are not posted until puppies are 6 weeks of age. I wait until 6 weeks because Basset's ears don't drop until 5-6 weeks and their coloring changes so by then you can have a better idea of how they will look. I can also tell you more about their personalities by then and all of this is very important in picking the right puppy for your family. Photos are posted only for those on the notification list. Then (at six weeks old) puppy visits are scheduled for you to come out and choose your puppy. (Some people will choose by the puppy photos/videos if they live a long distance away and can only make one trip). At that time I take deposits to hold your puppy ($100 non refundable deposit). My puppies go home to their new families when they are
8 weeks old because it is best for their development and socialization to be with their mamas and littermates until then. I often have families waiting for puppies of a certain color, sex or set of parents and this seems to be the fairest way to handle the list. Our puppies are all usually sold to people waiting on the notification list and are not usually posted to the website.
