Our Health Guarantee

Blessed Bassets guarantees at the time of purchase your puppy to be free of disease and genetic defects. For this guarantee to be in effect the puppy must be checked within 5 days of the purchase date by a licensed vet. If any serious defect or disease is found within the same 5 days money will be refunded if the puppy is returned with a written statement from the same vet stating the reason for the return, (or the puppy will be replaced as soon as a suitable replacement can be made.) In the event of the emergence of any genetic defect found within one year following the purchase date, seller agrees to replace the puppy with equivalent quality, sex and color that is available or from the next litter. Two veterinarians must be in the opinion that the defect is serious enough to warrant euthanasia of the puppy/dog. If you choose not to have the puppy examined in the above stated time, you will assume full responsibility and the guarantee is void. The guarantee does not cover internal or external parasites (fleas, ticks, worms) or any other disease that might have been contracted after the purchase date. Blessed Bassets will not pay any veterinarian charges after the puppy leaves our kennel. No warranty or guarantee is made as to size, disposition, color, or reproduction capabilities of the within described puppy.
