The vets at the Forney Animal Hospital have been a great support to me and all of my animals for many years even before Blessed Bassets came along.  Dr. Roger Wilbur provided all the information and expertise I needed as I began breeding my dogs.  Along with that all of the vets (Dr. Lucy Nix,  Dr. Hammond  as well ) have given me great help and support beyond the "call of duty" and I count them all as blessed friends as well as my docs !!  All of the support staff at Forney Animal Hospital are also kind, ever patient and always helpful. They are all like family to me.   Everyone there knows me and the Blessed Bassets.  If you have any questions about the care of my dogs feel free to call them and ask about me.  Their phone number is (972)564-1015.  I also could not recommend any vets more highly than these so if you live in our area you would be wise to take your animals to them. They recently opened a brand new facility that is " state of the art". I so love and appreciate Dr. Wilbur for the tremendous ways he has helped and instructed me.  He always loves to love on the puppies and "loves that puppy breath".  He does still occasionally help out so we still get to see him once in awhile.   We wish him great joy and relaxation in his retirement.

Dr. Dan Hammond has seen me at my very worst (no sleep for 2 days with two litters birthed and worried over my puppies) and has always treated me with great PATIENCE and has treated my dogs with the upmost care and thoroughness. He has answered many questions and concerns for me.   Dr. Hammond also has a great sense of humor and can always make me laugh ....he entertains everyone at the hospital.
